Thermostats | Overheat Protector

Thermostats are a device that controls the temperature in an environment. To be specific, the thermostat maintains the temperature at a preset degree by controlling the heater or air conditioner. The working principle of this unit is simple. When the temperature is below the desired level, the thermostat turns on the heater and vice versa. As a result, the thermostat is also called the temperature switch or thermal switch. In short, such a device continuously senses the temperature in a system and turns on and off the heater to keep the temperature at a certain level.

The use of a thermostat switch is mostly involved when the heater or air conditioner is implemented. For example, there is the thermostat switch in the building heating system, central AC system, water heater, the kitchen equipment including fridges, toasters, ovens, labs, and medical facilities. In each of the applications, different types of thermostats are utilized. The two primary types are mechanical and digital. Sang Mao offers a series of mechanical thermal switches that work by thermal expansion. This type of thermostat is also called bimetal thermostat and bimetal temperature switch.
